Mike Cox
OwnerMike was the original employee of Ed's Collision in 1979. His career began as a summer job, which then turned into a lifelong career. Mike started working out in the shop, moved into the role of Production Manger and then eventually became the General Manager. In June 2006, Mike and his wife purchased Ed's Collision! Mike is active in the Business Networking International group, the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Auto Body Advisory Board for Hennepin Vocational College. He enjoys spending time with his family and running.
Sandy Cox
CFOSandy joined the team in 2006 and takes care of the financial end of the business here at Ed’s Collision, including payables and receivables. She is also responsible for human resources and employee benefits along with many other miscellaneous tasks that come up. Sandy enjoys horseback riding and bicycling in her free time.
Andrea Larson
Customer Service RepresentativeAndrea started working at Ed’s Collision in 2002. This was her first full-time job, and she has learned so much being an employee here. Andrea enjoys her job because she gets to help customers with questions they have, engage in conversations with them or just say “have a great day”. She is the first person customers interact with when they walk in the door.
Kelli Friese
Marketing/Promotions/Sales DirectorKelli comes to us with over 26 years of marketing experience. She has been a part of the Ed’s team for 12 years. As a MN state licensed insurance continuing education instructor, her duties here include facilitating and educating insurance agents in the state of Minnesota. She also handles promotions such as local high school all-night graduation parties, northwest chamber events, contributions to local charities and civic organizations, and city-wide celebrations. In addition she organizes our internal employee sales, recognition and awards programs.
Shawn Hartner
Production ManagerShawn started here in 1988 as a general laborer. He has 23 years of body labor experience and numerous I-Car and ASE Master Collision Repair/Refinish Technician certifications. In 2006, Shawn was promoted to production manager. Shawn is an avid hunter and angler.
Chad Swanson
Parts ManagerChad has worked at Ed’s for 10 years. On a daily basis he performs many duties including finding the best car parts for quality repairs. Chad has experience in detailing and parts and attended Hennepin Technical College for Auto Body. When he is not at work Chad enjoys drag racing, fishing and working around his house.
Chris DeLorenzo
EstimatorChris joined the team at Ed’s in 2005. With over 18 years in the industry, he brings a fresh perspective to the company because of the various positions he has had from detailing cars up to estimating damage. Chris understands the process the cars go through during the repair procedure and works with customers to ensure that they understand what is going on as well.
Body/Finish Technicians
Our body and finish technicians are I-CAR certified, ASE certified, (including the MIG welding certification), PPG certified and have had manufacturer and supplier training. Between all of our technicians, they have over 80 years of experience.
